JISP SCHEDULE 2024-2025

We are excited to kick off registration for the 2025 BRSU Junior Instructional Sports Program (JISP) season.  JISP is for students in grades K-8 at all BRSU Schools: Currier, Dorset, Flood Brook, Manchester, Mettawee and Sunderland. The feedback provided at the end of last year's season strongly supported continuing with JISP and keeping it as part of the student's school day. If participating in a school supported JISP program, students will be transported to their activity and then returned to the school at the end of the day for a regular school dismissal.

We will continue to allow families to select their own activity, as we did last year so if you choose to create your own JISP opportunity for your child, identified as the "Family determined option," you will need to pick up your child at the school at the school dismissal time that will be provided by your child's school at a future date.

*** Registration will remain open until October 31, 2024 ***

  • All students will have a school-based option.  Some schools may combine so the experience for your child may be at a different school. Detailed information will be available soon.

  • Every child must be registered, even if you are taking your child to an activity that is not a school supported activity; complete one registration form per child.

  • Scholarships are available through the registration form.

  • If Bromley closes and skiing/riding is canceled, this will not result in all activities being canceled; If weather permits, activities not on the mountain will continue and students will remain at school participating in an alternate activity. We will make specific inclement weather decisions as they occur

  • You will receive communication in the coming weeks/months from the Supervisory Union and your child’s school with additional details and information.

  • Students will be allowed to stay at Bromley and Riley Rink if parents have indicated this on the BRSU registration form and there is an adult to take responsibility for them; details will be provided at a later date.

Please register your child(ren) as early as possible. This helps both the partner programs and our schools to plan for the most successful experience possible.
